Jerusalem Mediterranean Restaurant and Bar is a place that genuinely stands out in a city full of seafood buffets and beach bars. The interior features handmade Turkish globes, custom seating, and a stained-glass chandelier, with a round layout and a bar at the center that gives the whole space a look you won’t find anywhere else on the Grand Strand.

Chef Maksim Garby runs the kitchen using locally sourced meats, fish, and vegetables, and the menu covers a lot of ground. You’ll find char-grilled chicken and ribeye kebabs, lamb chops, a slow-cooked Moroccan lamb tagine with prunes and apricots, and a kofta made from seasoned ground beef and lamb. If you’re not sure where to start, the Jerusalem Experience platter and the Casablanca Mixed Grill are both built for sharing and known for being more than enough food.

You can eat inside or out on the patio, and there’s a full bar with cocktails and wine to go along with the meal. On select evenings, live belly dancers perform, which makes the whole experience feel a bit more like an event than just dinner. It’s certainly worth a visit.
