Hanser House Food
Fresh seafood is the foundation of the menu for the Hanser House, which gets its fresh catch from the local docks of Murrells Inlet and its oysters from nearby McClellansville and serves the up nightly. Start with some steamed shrimp or oysters or a heaping dish of crab dip and wash it down with their famous She Crab Soup. The Hanser House likes to spice things up on their entrée menu, with Shrimp Creole, Jambalaya and Jalapeno grits bringing the heat. Those with simpler taste buds can opt for the fried, grilled or broiled seafood combination platters, and land-food lovers can choose between a wide range of steaks, sandwiches, soups and salads.
