Flo’s Place

For decades, Flo’s Place has been bringing New Orleans flavor to the Grand Strand. Located in Pawleys Island, this local restaurant prides itself on serving up delectable Lowcountry seafood and dishes inspired by the Big Easy. Flo’s Place has a family-owned restaurant since its conception, and to this day it is owned and operated by relatives of the original owner.

The lunch menu at Flo’s Place features items such as soups and salads, as well as a variety of po’boys, fish and shrimp tacos, lunch plates featuring the Bayou Burger, fried flounder on a bun, fried green tomato BLT on a bun, chicken tenders, ribs, and various types of seafood. You may also try shrimp creole, spicy shrimp ball marinara, crab stuffed baked potato, shrimp and scallops alfredo, and grilled sirloin! And don’t forget dessert! The dinner menu at Flo’s Place is much more expansive than the lunch menu. Of course, you can start off with (or make a meal out of) a soup or salad such as alligator stew, red beans and rice, or a salad featuring your favorite seafood or fried green tomatoes. If you’re with a group of people or just enjoy having an appetizer before your main course, check out the large list of starters. This list includes delicious options such as shrimp cocktail, creamy crab dip, fried green tomatoes, fried pickle chips, shrimp ball marinara, char-grilled oysters, BBQ gator skewers, oysters diablo, and more. After making your way through a delicious appetizer, it is time to move on to the entrees. There are so many options at Flo’s Place, it’s nearly impossible to choose!
