About Fat Jack’s Wings & Things
Fat Jack’s Wings & Things has been around for more than 40 years at various locations and recently saw new ownership in 2013. But the same tasty chicken wings and other things keep locals and visitors coming back for more. Junior Kemp and Debby Kolar haven’t changed much; if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.
Fat Jack’s Food
As the title suggests, the wings are king at Fat Jack’s. Big, meaty drumsticks in a variety of sauces, from the super spicy Ragin’ Cajun to the sweet-and-sassy House Specials, give guests plenty of choices. Some order them Plain Jane and just enjoy them with the chunky Bleu Cheese dipping sauce with celery and carrot sticks. And then there are the “Things” – soups, salads and starters, like the hand-cut home fries, mini-potato pancakes and soft pretzels. The most popular “things” are the giant burgers and sandwiches, such as the Philly Cheesesteak, Smoked Sausage and Kraut and Chicken Parmesan subs. Dine-in and carry-out party platters are available, as is a long list of beers and wines.
Fat Jack’s Atmosphere
Fat Jack’s has that laid-back, lived-in feel one looks for in a local bar and grill. Wooden walls, sports signage and an abundance of TVs to catch all the games give Fat Jack’s a casual environment with a friendly staff and regulars.
