Bummz Beach Cafe

This oceanfront beach bar and grill has more going for it than just location, but you can’t be the view from the back porch or the pane-glass windows overlooking the Atlantic. This place was built with good times in mind, and Bummz delivers with nightly live music on the patio deck during the summer months and an always happening bar scene.

Bummz Food

Bummz offers much more than standard bar food, although it is in abundant supply. Popular choices include a wide range of burgers and sandwiches, including the famous Bummz Burger topped with chili, cheese, onions and slaw, and the Philly Chicken Sandwich, topped with grilled onions and peppers and melted cheese. All sandwiches are served with chips or fries and a pickle spear. But seafood is also on the menu, featuring peel-and-eat shrimp and fresh catch of the day served your way. Steaks, salads and appetizers are also popular selections and there’s plenty on the kids’ menu to keep the little ones happy. Full bars are located both inside and on the patio deck.

Bummz Atmosphere

Bummz is about as casual as it comes, with beachcomers strolling up from the shore in tank tops, swim trunks and flip-flops. The building is a converted 1930s beachhouse with Georgia pine interior and wooden tables and chairs. But the best spot is the open-air deck overlooking the ocean, a tiki bar serving cold beer and frozen drinks and a stage for bands.
