There are “No Bad Days” at Bimini’s, an island-themed seafood shack that has been serving locals, visitors and Parrotheads since 1985. Although tucked away in a strip mall just off Restaurant Row, Bimini’s is a diamond in the rough for those looking for a good time. This place is a hot spot for the Shore Drive crowd.
Bimini’s is famous for seafood, and lots of it. Diners can choose between fresh shrimp, oysters, clams and mussels steamed to perfection, or from a wide range of catch of the day selections – grouper, tuna, salmon and Mahi Mahi. One of the most popular selections for seafood lovers are the Crab Leg Pot, the Oyster Roast and the Steam Pot, which is filled with shellfish and corn on the cob. More elaborate entrees include the Fried Fish Plate with cole slaw and hushpuppies and the Fish or Shrimp Tacos. Steaks, salads, appetizers and Key Lime Pie are offered for those looking for some “land-food” and a full bar is also is available.
Bimini’s screams laid-back beach bar, just as it should. Palm leaves and picnic tables adorn the dining area and a large bar allows patrons to mix and mingle over cold beer and frozen margaritas. A small front porch is a nice spot if you can get one of the few tables and island-inspired music is on the sound system whenever live music isn’t on the stage.
We go to North Myrtle Beach at least 3 0r 4 times a year. No trip is complete without visiting Bimini's at least twice. The food is always great and the service is always awesome. A great spot for locals, you really have to choose your the timing of your visit wisely to even get a seat. They have great bartenders and a Happy Hour daily. We love to sit at the bar and shuck oysters and always make new friends. The servings are generous, all the seafood is cooked fresh and to perfection. A great place to chill out with friends.
Been here many times.. Never had anything but perfection, fast service, great food and hands down THE BEST fried Oysters ever...you can't miss going here
