True, the heart of their business is the chewy round bread with a hole in the middle that they make daily, but the offerings at Bagel Factory extend much farther. And because Myrtle Beach is a haven for vacationers and transplants from the Northeastern United States, this multiple location eatery has become something of an institution in the area.

The breakfast menu begins predictably, On A Bagel, with options including with Butter, Cream Cheese, Fat Free Cream Cheese, Specialty Cream Cheese (veggie, chive, strawberry, walnut & raisin, green olive & pimento, garlic & herb, jalapeno & cheddar), or with Lox & Cream Cheese. Other morning options include Omelettes (plain, spinach, bacon ham or sausage, vegetable, western, mushroom & cheese, Greek) served with home fries, bagel, roll, or toast; Eggs (on a bagel, with Taylor ham, with bacon, ham, or sausage, any style, with potatoes, with lox, onions, and potatoes, or benedict-style with potatoes); Pancakes & French Toast; Low-Fat Breakfast Wraps; and Breakfast Specials (Brooklyn platter – lox, tomato, onion, cream cheese, bagel, side salad). This is your standard, walk-up bakery/deli/café with the menu on the wall behind the counter. The tables are spaced appropriately around the eating area, but depending on the time of day and the local demand for New York-style dining, the conversations of nearby diners might be unavoidable.
