This is part of our series “Historic Postcards”, gathered from popular postcard designs published in the early 1960s and sold at many souvenir outlets across the Grand Strand and the East Coast. This collection features photos of popular attractions throughout the City of Myrtle Beach including the boardwalk, Pine Lakes Country Club, and Myrtle Beach State Park as well as defunct landmarks such as the Ocean Forest Hotel, The Pink House and the Myrtle Beach Air Force Base. The text accompanying each photo is what was printed on the backside of each postcard.
