About 2001 Nightclub
Editor’s Note: 2001 Nightclub closed permanently in January 2018.
As one of the premier nightlife destinations on the Grand Strand, 2001 Nightclub has been hosting partygoers of all ages for over three decades. With two separate clubs under one roof – Next Level and Club Touch – revelers can pick their favorite atmosphere and music and set up shop, or bounce back and forth all night until the right blend of party is reached. Next Level features live local and beach music bands Thursday through Saturday beginning at 9:30 p.m. And before, during breaks, and after the sets, DJ J.D. Cash spins a mix of soul, Motown, funk, and beach music to keep the crowd moving. At Club Touch, where the energy is a little higher, six video walls add to the atmosphere as DJ Rich Hargrove pumps out high-energy dance music (including hip-hop, techno, Top 40, and retro classics), making it nearly impossible not to bust a move. And keep an eye on the videos on the walls – hidden cameras are busy catching all of the best action on the dance floor, projecting them along with popular music videos and ambient footage. Located on Lake Arrowhead Road near Restaurant Row, 2001 Nightclub is also a reasonable cab ride away from many hotels in Myrtle Beach and North Myrtle Beach.
