About Town of Surfside Beach Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

Residents and visitors are invited to the Town of Surfside Beach for the most joyful event of the season: The Christmas Tree Lighting Festival!

The festival runs from 5 to 8 p.m. and includes vendors, entertainment, and children’s activities.

The Lakewood Elementary School Chorus and The Entertainers Band will provide Christmas music. For those seeking even more holiday cheer, there’s the opportunity to capture a family photo with the jolly man himself, Santa Claus, aboard his sleigh.

Festive activities include ornament decorating for kids, face painting, a snow machine, photos with Santa, a letters to Santa station, and more!

Schedule of Events

• 5:00 p.m. – Welcome by Mayor Krouse
• 5:15 p.m. – Lakewood Elementary School Chorus performs
• 5:45 p.m. – “The Entertainers” perform live music on stage
• 6:30 p.m. – Lighting of the Christmas Tree
• 6:35 p.m. – The “The Entertainers” performance will continue until 8:00 p.m.

*The rain date (if needed) is scheduled for Dec 5.
