About Town of Surfside Beach Christmas Tree Lighting Festival

Residents and visitors are invited to the Town of Surfside Beach for the most joyful event of the season: The Christmas Tree Lighting Festival!

The festival runs from 4 to 7 p.m. and includes vendors, entertainment, and children’s activities.

The Lakewood Elementary School Chorus and the Tams & 14K Gold Band will provide Christmas music. For those seeking even more holiday cheer, there’s the opportunity to capture a family photo with the jolly man himself, Santa Claus, aboard his sleigh.

Other festive activities include decorating gingerbread cookies and transforming faces into Christmas characters with face painting.

Schedule of Events

4:00 p.m. – Welcome by Mayor Krouse
4:15 p.m. – Lakewood Elementary School Chorus performs
4:45 p.m. – “The Tams” perform live music on stage
6:30 p.m. – Lighting of the Christmas Tree
6:40 p.m. – The “The Tams” performance continues until 7:00 p.m.
