Let your ears and eyes take a trip to Austria as the Strand Theater cast brings this musical to life! Enjoy the wonderful voices of this cast and watch this true story based on Maria Von Trapp leave you breathless. Throughout the month of July, guests can buy tickets to see this renowned play performed live at the Strand Theater in Georgetown, South Carolina. This play is presented by the Swamp Fox players and seats fill up quickly!

To make a reservation and reserve a seat you can call the box office at (843)-527-2924 ext 1. Tickets are available to be reserved for $20 a seat. This musical will be performed all throughout July at 710 Front Street in Georgetown, South Carolina. The production features music by Richard Rogers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein III, a book by Howard Lindsay, and Russel Crouse with suggestions from “The Trapp Family Singers” by Maria Augusta Trapp.

Viewers can choose to watch this production on July 21, 22, 23, 28, 29, and 30th at 8 pm. Additionally, you can enjoy the Sunday Matinees of The Sound of Music on July 24 and 31 at 2 pm.

Guests should also be advised that the Strand Theater does not require masks or social distancing, this theater will also be seating to their full capacity.
