Jefferson Starship is making their Alabama Theatre debut, Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 7pm, North Myrtle Beach, SC, with their 50th Anniversary, ‘Runaway Again Tour’.

Jefferson Starship, a titan of the arena rock genre, boasts numerous Platinum and Gold records, along with a plethora of Top 40 hits throughout the band’s continuous career. Originating in 1970 with Paul Kantner’s BLOWS AGAINST THE EMPIRE, the band’s rich history and musical journey is marked by various lineup changes, each contributing to its enduring legacy. The group is widely known for introducing hits like “Miracles” from their famed 1975 album Red Octopus, “Jane” from the hit record Freedom at Point Zero in 1979, the 1980’s gem “Find Your Way Back” off Modern Times, and countless others into the musical stratosphere.

First officially touring as Jefferson Starship in 1974, the band celebrates 50 years of music this 2024. The band’s current touring lineup features founding member David Freiberg, along with legendary Jefferson Starship & Starship drummer Donny Baldwin, keyboardist Chris Smith, Grammy–nominated vocalist Cathy Richardson, and lead guitarist Jude Gold, all continuing the band’s tradition of delivering timeless music and unforgettable live performances.
