52nd annual Canadian-American Days Celebrations & Events



The 52nd annual Canadian-American Days Celebration is scheduled for March 9-17, 2013 in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. The event brings thousands of Canadian-Americans to the beach each year and is hosted by the Myrtle Beach Chamber of Commerce. Here’s a quick glance at this year’s events.

The North Strand's Can-Am Celebration will be held at the Myrtle Beach Mall. SEARSON will provide musical entertainment beginning at 12 p.m. Wednesday, March 13. Admission is free.

Can-Am goers who love the musical group SEARSON can attend the South Strand’s Can-Am Celebration at the Inlet Square Mall in Murrells Inlet. The group will perform at 12 p.m. Thursday, March 14 and admission is free.

The 52nd annual Canadian-American Days Festival Expo will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday, March 15 at Coastal Grand Mall. The expo will offer great prizes and drawings from more than 40 exhibitors. The Andrew Thielen Big Band will perform live at 11:30 a.m.

First United Methodist Church welcomes Festive Brass of Myrtle Beach for the annual Can-Am Concert. Admission is free and donations will be accepted. The concert will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 17 at the church.
