2017 Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art
The 2017 Pawleys Island Festival of Music and Art is underway, and this week there are some exciting events going on! Here’s what you can check out at the festival this weekend:
Oct. 13 | You’ve Got a Friend – Carole King & James Taylor Tribute, $25+
Oct. 14 | Melissa Manchester, $25+
Kids Drive-In Movie Night
Round up the kiddos and head to Thompson Farm on Friday, October 13 for a kids drive-in movie night! Bring your kid’s favorite ride-on toy or car, and chairs or blankets for yourself to enjoy Hotel Transylvania playing on a big screen. There will also be coffee, cider, s’mores, and more.
2017 Little River ShrimpFest
Get your fill of fresh delicious shrimp at the 2017 Little River Shrimp Fest on October 14&15. This popular event will feature tons of food, vendors, arts & crafts, live music, balloon artists, stilt walkers, kids activities, and much more. Admission is $5/person each day. Kids 12 and under are free.
Myrtle Beach Truck-or-Treat
The Sun News & Broadway at the Beach present Myrtle Beach Truck-or-Treat on Saturday, October 14 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. This family-friendly event will feature tons of cool trucks handing out candy to the little ones. There will also be other fun activities, and a costume contest at noon.
The event will host a horn-free hour from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Candy in the Corn Trick or Treat Trail
Thompson Farm will be hosting Candy in the Corn Trick or Treat Trail this Saturday, October 14, and every Saturday in October until the 28th. Dress your kids in their favorite costume so they can make their way through a special maze and find treats. There will be character appearances from Pippa the Pumpkin Princess, Willa the Witch, and more.
