About 4th of July Independence Day 5k

Sign up for the 16th annual Independence Day 5k at The Market Common in Myrtle Beach and celebrate the 4th of July with fitness.

The event includes the 5K, which begins at 7 a.m., as well as a 1-mile fun run (7:30 a.m. start) and a 50-yard kids dash (8 a.m.).  Participants are encouraged to come in festive attire and costumes.

Participants in the 5K will receive a t-shirt and a finisher medal. Participants in the 1-mile and kids dash get a finisher gift. All participants will have a race bib.

All registrations take place online. The cost for the 5K is $40 and the Fun Run is $30. The price of both will increase after June 2. The Kids dash is free, but you must register. Registration closes July 4 at 6 a.m.
