About Colon Cancer Awareness Month – Coastal Cancer Center

March is Colon Cancer Awareness month. In the spirit of serving our communities in Myrtle Beach, Coastal Cancer Center and Strand GI Associates are collaborating in a free community public event to raise awareness about colon cancer and promote early detection through screening. There will be printed educational resources available to all who attend. Experts in the fields of radiation oncology, medical oncology and GI will be on hand to answer questions in an informal “Ask the Experts” format. Attendees will also have the opportunity to provide information so they can be called to schedule a screening colonoscopy.
