Big names heading for new Myrtle Beach summer concert

Sam Hunt and Ludacris are among the artists expected to perform this summer at the Bud Light Get Away Concert, which was approved by City Council today. 

The inaugural event will be July 14 at the former Pavilion site on the downtown Myrtle Beach oceanfront.  Plans for the event include food trucks alongside the live performances. 

Now in its fourth year, the Carolina Country Music Fest is also held at the site. Luke Bryan, Toby Keith, the Zac Brown Band and Cole Swindell are all slated to headline the 4-day CCMF in June.
