MyrtleBeach.com Facebook Page Rolls out Hotel Reviews

MyrtleBeach.com’s Facebook Fan page added a brand new “Hotel Reviews” tab and we’ve been busy adding as many fan reviews as possible. We didn’t want our fans to think we weren’t listening to their every day questions so we still managed to ask as many as we could. We had questions about the best free things to do, where the best area is to stay and the best camping spots in Myrtle Beach.

We rolled out our “Hotel Reviews” last week to give fans a chance to speak out about their favorite hotels and the experiences they’ve had at the beach. We had some really great quality reviews and we’re so thankful to our wonderful fans for participating. To submit a review of a hotel, head to our Facebook fan page and click on “Hotel Reviews” on the left hand side of the page.

Chrissa F., a loyal fan, is heading to Myrtle Beach on a budget and wanted to know about the best free activities or shows to attend. Most folks suggested spending hours at the beach since that’s always free. The oceanfront Boardwalk was another great idea. Other fans suggested trying out the free events at Barefoot Landing, Broadway at the Beach and The Market Common.

With so many beautiful parts to stay along the Grand Strand, it’s no wonder that so many fans have trouble deciding exactly where to set up shop. Almost 200 fans weighed in on their favorite parts of the beach. Ann Covert said she prefers the South end with, “lots of people and things to do, but not right in the middle of the crowd.” Brian Grassie said he likes to stay in the midst of the action in Myrtle Beach so he doesn’t have to drive. North Myrtle Beach got quite a few shout outs as well. “It’s all good- just come and have fun,” said Kim Westmoreland.

Families have been camping out in Myrtle Beach for many years so it’s no surprise that each fan has their very favorite camping spot. Myrtle Beach State Park, Ocean Lakes, Pirateland and Lakewood had many recommendations each and are spots where families return to year after year. Myrtle Beach Travel Park, Apache Campground and KOA also received quite a few votes.
