The Best Days To Book Your Myrtle Beach Vacation

Vacationing in Myrtle Beach is the definitely the best, but sometimes saving up the money to pay for your hotel can be a little difficult. Don’t worry; we understand. Different people have different budgets, and many people can only get off from work during certain times of the year, or during certain days of the week.

Because we love Myrtle Beach so much and want everyone to be able to enjoy our fantastic city, we have comprised a list of the best times to book your hotel in Myrtle Beach. Of course, this list won't always be correct in all circumstances. That's why it is important to do research and compare rates at your favorite properties in order to get the best deals possible. However, next time you sit down to book your next vacation to the Grand Strand, be sure to use this helpful list as a guide.

3-Day Vacations:

If you only have 3 days to vacation, then you will want to check in on a Tuesday and check out on a Thursday. These are generally the 3 most inexpensive days for hotel rates in any given week. Also, these days tend to see the least amount of tourists so the beach and all of the Myrtle Beach attractions will be less crowded.

4-Day Vacations:

If you have 4 days to vacation, then you will want to check in on a Monday and check out on a Thursday. Friday marks the beginning of vacation for many people so the rates increase on Fridays for almost any Myrtle Beach hotel you’ll compare. Though beach traffic is a concern for some, coming in on a Monday and leaving on a Thursday will alleviate much of the traffic and stressful driving.

5-Day Vacations:

As you may have guessed, the best value for a 5-day vacation is between Monday and Friday during most weeks.  Avoiding the weekend is almost always going to cut down hotel costs. Myrtle Beach hotels, like hotels in many vacation destinations, make the most money on higher weekend rates. While you may have to pay a little extra on Friday, it will likely be less costly than staying on a Saturday.

7-Day Vacations:

Those who are going to stay the entire week are obviously not going to be able to avoid the weekend rates. The best way to save money on Myrtle Beach hotels for weeklong stays is simply to compare overall rates.  Take your list of hotels that meet your criteria and look at the date ranges you plan on vacationing. Choose the one that will offer the best rates. You may also want to look for Myrtle Beach hotel deals and promotions for a discounted stay at your selected properties.
