Sensory-Friendly Christmas Shopping

Coastal Grand Mall will be hosting a sensory-friendly shopping day on December 3 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. so that families who have family members with autism can shop in a calming atmosphere. 40 stores will be open, and children will be able to take photos with Santa Claus! Visits with Santa will be conducted with a ticketing system so families won’t worry about having to deal with the stress of waiting in a line.

Ocean Lakes Campground Named

Ocean Lakes Campground Named "Mega Park of the Year"

For the 6th year in a row, Ocean Lakes Campground in Myrtle Beach has been named the Mega Park of the Year by the National Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds. Ocean Lakes is recognized for being the larges campground on the East Coast and is revered for friendly staff, recreation programs, a water park, and so much more.

Tents Allowed on Surfside Beach

Tents Allowed on Surfside Beach

The town of Surfside Beach has voted to allow tents on the beach as long as said tents are backed up to the emergency lane, leaving 8 feet of space from the dunes, and all tents must be 6 feet apart from one another. This will allow beach goers to enjoy having the large shading devices, while still those without tents uninterrupted views of the beautiful ocean.
