What’s New at Barefoot Landing for 2018

This year has been a big year for changes around the Myrtle Beach area, as the Grand Strand is always welcoming new attractions and businesses. Barefoot Landing is no stranger to 2018’s changes, as the popular attraction said ‘hello’ to new stores and restaurants throughout the year.

Check out these new things at Barefoot Landing for 2018:

Restaurants

Blueberry's Grill

Blueberry's Grill

Blueberry’s Grill in Grande Dunes was so successful that they decided to open another location at Barefoot Landing this year! Locals and visitors to Barefoot Landing are thrilled that this breakfast and lunch restaurant is now at their favorite attraction. Blueberry’s Grill serves breakfast all day, with selections like omelettes, benedicts, pancakes, and more like the wild smoked salmon croissant. Lunch items here include a variety of salads, sandwiches, burgers, and entrees like the Charleston Style Shrimp and Grits or the Green Tomato Surf (SC fried green tomatoes, lump crab meat, poached eggs over easy stone ground grits with fig glaze and garnished with scallions).

Cafe de Paris

Cafe de Paris

Cafe de Paris is an adorable coffee shop that opened in Barefoot Landing this year. The eatery uses organic, fair trade tea and coffee as well as local dairy suppliers and bakeries for fresh ingredients. In addition to a variety of delicious beverages, Cafe de Paris also offers sandwiches, soups, salads, crepes, and European Waffles complete with Nutella and your choice of banana, strawberry, and blueberry.

Perhaps the biggest addition to Barefoot Landing this year was the opening of Lucy Buffett’s LuLu’s! This family-friendly restaurant not only boasts a menu of delicious food, but it also is home to live music and its own little beachfront with games on the Intracoastal Waterway. The food at LuLu’s is inspired by Southern Coastal cuisine, but there are also Dairy Free, Egg Free, Gluten Free, Shellfish Free, and Soy Free menus available. 

Taco Mundo Kitchen y Cantina

Taco Mundo Kitchen y Cantina

Barefoot Landing said ‘goodbye’ to Tbonz and welcomed Taco Mundo Kitchen y Cantina. This new Mexican restaurant specializes in Mexican-American cuisine with a menu full of items like tacos, rice bowls, fajitas, and much more. Guests will enjoy festive Mexican decor, and indoor/outdoor bar, waterway seating, and a large selection of creative cocktails.

Faux Paws

Faux Paws

Grab your furry friend and make your way to Faux Paws at Barefoot Landing! This new store sells all kinds of cute things for pet lovers, including toys, treats, apparel, and much more. 

 Kentucky Mist Distillery

Kentucky Mist Distillery

Treat yourself to some moonshine at Kentucky Mist Distillery, new at Barefoot Landing. This moonshine shop does tastings and sells their signature moonshine flavors. Enjoy the traditional Corn Mist or Mist, as well as flavors like Apple Pie, Infused Cherry, Infused Peach, and more. Of course, you must be 21 and older to sample or buy moonshine. 

 Lo-kuhl

Lo-kuhl

Lo-Kuhl is your new, one-stop shop at Barefoot Landing for all-things local! This shop sells a variety of local items including candles, jams, jellies, and much more. 

Pure Lure

Pure Lure

Pure Lure is a new fishing boutique in Barefoot Landing that carries all the big name fishing brands. Guests here will find brands like Southern Tide, Fish Hippie, Patagonia, Pelagic, Huk, Costa, and more. 

Southern Edge Knife Works

Southern Edge Knife Works

New to Barefoot Landing, Southern Edge Knife Works is a local retailer that is a hot spot to find the best knives from around the world. This shop features a variety of knives like pocket knives, kitchen knives, swords, self-defense knives, sporting goods, fixed blade knives…the list goes on and on.
