Since its major renovation in 2021, Barefoot Landing continues to change and grow. If you haven’t visited in a while, you’ll be pleasantly surprised to find an expanded parking lot near the boat ramps. Safari Lodge Photo Encounter recently closed and the site was cleared away, freeing up space for new attractions to open at Barefoot Landing. In the meantime, construction is underway at a waterfront site for Barefoot Landing’s new restaurant, Big Chill.

New Restaurants at Barefoot Landing
Big Chill
Opening in the spring of 2024, Big Chill will be the newest restaurant at Barefoot Landing. The oceanfront property is expected to feature two stories of indoor seating, a rooftop bar, and outdoor patio seating. Guests can enjoy dinner and a show at the rooftop bar during Barefoot Landing’s firework displays.
Upcoming Events at Barefoot Landing
Rock ‘N Paws
On March 1–3, 2024, Barefoot Landing will host a weekend of live music and animal adoptions. Local shelters will showcase furry friends looking for a new home while bands perform at the Amphitheater Stage in Dockside Village. Bring out your pet on Saturday for the My Pet is a Rockstar pageant.
Yoga in the Yard
Rise and shine with an energizing activity at Barefoot Landing. Every Saturday in March, Crooked Hammock will host Yoga in the Yard. Enjoy a refreshing stretch then mingle with fellow yoga fans at this beloved Barefoot Landing brewery.
Weekend Concert Series
Barefoot Landing is set to host concerts on most Fridays and Saturdays until June. Visit Dockside Village and catch local bands and vocalists light up the stage. The Friday performances are held at the Amphitheater Stage between 5 and 8 p.m. Saturday performances take place at the Amphitheater Stage between 2 and 5 p.m.
