Explore Exciting Events 

The Carolina Country Music Fest draws thousands of country music fans to the beach for a 4-day oceanfront event each June featuring some of the biggest names in country music as well as hot up-and-coming artists. The year’s event is June 9-12, 2022, and artists Chase Rice, Luke Bryan, Keith Urban and Jason Aldean are all scheduled to perform. 
 
The 25th annual Corvettes at the Beach Car Show will be held June 4 at Broadway at the Beach. Connect with car enthusiasts and check out the amazing rides they have to share. 
 
Brookgreen Gardens is hosting a two-day art festival June 4-5 where visitors can browse art work for sale or take in a demonstration by artists. Brookgreen Gardens is a non-profit nature preserve with amazing gardens and sculptures to explore either on your own or with a guide. 
 

See Some Fireworks

Nothing tops of a gorgeous summer day like a fireworks show just after dusk.

Shopping and entertainment complexes Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing both kick off their summer fireworks displays in June.

Catch the Broadway at the Beach fireworks on select Tuesday and Friday nights starting June 7 over Lake Broadway in the middle of the complex. Barefoot Landing begins their display June 6 and continues each Monday throughout the summer. 

Explore What’s New

Myrtle Beach has plenty of new attractions and restaurants to explore in 2022.

The Hangout, which opened in late May, is Broadway at the Beach‘s newest restaurant/attraction. The Hangout features an expansive menu, high-energy staff, live entertainment, courtyard games and more. The Hangout is welcoming Illumination Park: An Art Experience at the Hangout, which is a curated art experience that comes alive each night. The exhibits will be illuminated for the first time June 2. 

The K1 indoor go-kart track opened in April in North Myrtle Beach in the former Bi-Lo grocery store building. K1 features all-electric go-karts that can reach top speeds of around 45 mph. 

The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk got a colorful update for the summer season with the section-by-section replacement of boards to composite material. Nine different colored boards now line the iconic oceanfront Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, which is home to the Skywheel and many other attractions. 

Catch a Show

Fans’ favorite Broadway-style shows are back for their 2022 seasons in Myrtle Beach. 
 
The Carolina Opry Show‘s award-winning combination of music, dance and comedy brings fans back year after year. The cast includes fan favorites such at Delvin Choice from NBC’s The Voice, hip-hop cloggers All That!, and vocalists Christie Templeton, Tangena Church, and Chas Croft Sorrells. The Time Warp show at the Carolina Opry theater takes fans back into the 60s, 70s and 80s with the hit music of those decades along with high-energy performances and elaborate costumes. Music fans won’t want to miss it. 
 
Alabama Theatre’s One: The Show delivers world-class entertainment six nights a week throughout the summer. The show features an energetic and talented cash performing some of the biggest hit songs from a variety of music genres. Explore country, gospel, pop and rock in this family-friendly performance.
