Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach introduces their newest exhibit, Sharks- Perfect Predators. Interactive displays and more than a dozen species of sharks will give visitors a new kind of thrill.

Sharks, which kicked off earlier this month, will be on display throughout 2011. Its goal is to give light to the many myths and superstitions regarding these interesting sea creatures. The exhibit is free with paid admission to the aquarium.

Guests can interact with each other through more than 30 hands-on displays. Exhibits include a chance to see like sharks with “shark vision,” feel the force of a shark bite and guess what strange objects have been found in a shark’s stomach. The show promises to give visitors a better understanding of sharks and the way they fight to survive.

Ripley’s Aquarium is located at Broadway at the Beach in Myrtle Beach and is open 365 day a year with education programs, group tours and exciting exhibits.
