Myrtle Beach Fall Festivals 2018
Many people believe that things slow down in Myrtle Beach after the summer, but that couldn’t be any further from the truth! In fact, the Grand Strand hosts many popular festivals throughout the fall season. From car events to mouthwatering food-related festivals, here is a list of the 2018 fall festivals in Myrtle Beach:
2019 St. John’s Greek Festival
Join St. John the Baptist Greek Church for the 26th annual St. John’s Greek Festival! This popular event will take place from September 27 – 30 and will attract thousands of visitors. The festival will feature tons of delicious food, live music, dancing, games, vendors, and tours of the beautiful church.
2018 Lip Rippin’ Chilympics Chili Cookoff
The 2018 Lip Rippin’ Chilympics Chili Cookoff is set to take place on Sunday, November 4 from 11 a.m. until 6 p.m. at the Hot Fish Club in Murrells Inlet! Sample tickets are $2 and beer tickets are $3 with a $1 for an official event cup. All money raised will go to the Grand Strand Chapter of the Surfrider Foundtation. There will also be a collection for donations of canned food and non-perishable food items for South Strand Helping Hand.
Nights of a Thousand Candles
Nights of a Thousand Candles is perhaps the most anticipated fall/winter event of the year, and it is back for 2018! This event, which takes place at Brookgreen Gardens, features thousands of candles illuminating the beautiful sculpture gardens along with live entertainment, food, and more.
