About Fishing With Friends

Join the North Myrtle Beach Police and Fire Department for a fun morning of fishing on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 9 AM to 12 PM at the Lake Shelter in the NMB Park and Sports Complex (150 Citizens Circle, Little River, SC 29566).

Registration opens Thursday, April 24, and will remain open until tickets are sold out. All children must be registered to participate, as space is limited. Tickets are free!

Fishing equipment will be provided for use, as well as a lunch from the NMB Lions Club for both the children and their chaperones. Lunch will include a hot dog, chips, and a drink.

Members of the Sea Coast Anglers Association will be on hand to assist with all fishing needs and will serve as expert judges for the fish competitions. Competitions will feature categories for the largest fish caught across various species. Plus, the North Myrtle Beach Police and Fire Departments will join in the fun—fishing alongside participants and handing out giveaways throughout the event.
