Salsarita’s Fresh Cantina

Have a craving for some fast and casual Mexican food, but you’re stuck in Myrtle Beach? No se preocupe (that’s Spanish for “don’t worry”), Salsarita’s has a menu of quick and tasty dishes inspired by the cuisine of our neighbors to the south. Part of the reason that it’s quick is because they make signature salsas and fresh-made guacamole in-house every day, ensuring a speedy and fresh experience for each guest.

The concept here is very user-friendly. First, choose an entrée-type: Tacos (soft or crispy), Burrito (flour or wheat), Burrito Bowl, Quesadilla (flour or whole wheat), Nachos, Salad (taco shell or bowl), Saucy Burrito, or Tortilla Pizza. Second, choose some toppings: Brown Rice, Mexican Rice, Black Beans, Pinto Beans, Grilled Chicken, Shredded Pork, Ground Beef, Grilled Steak, Sautéed Shrimp, Fajita Veggies, Pico de Gallo, Roja Salsa, Tomatillo, Pueblo Corn, and Hot Salsa. Third, choose more toppings: Shredded Cheese, Sour Cream, Guacamole, Queso, Black Olives, Red Onions, Cilantro, Iceberg Lettuce, Diced Tomatoes, Hacienda Ranch, BBQ Sauce, Pickled Jalapenos, and Citrus Vinaigrette. Fourth, but not least, choose some sides and extras: Chips plain, or with your choice of Queso, Guacamole, Pico de Gallo, Roja, Tomatillo, Pueblo Corn, or Hot Salsa. Mexican Rice, Brown Rice, Refried Beans, Black Beans. Queso, Guacamole, Poquitos. Pretty straight-forward, right?

This is a comfortable place to enjoy fresh Mexican food – a variety of booths and tables are available inside, in addition to several patio tables out front. The interior design might be described as lively, fun, funky, noisy, or bonkers, depending on your tastes – and there’s really no wrong answer! Other than that, the space is designed to complement the meal you’re eating. So order up, take a seat, and enjoy the  quick trip into another land.
