Tibetan Monks create sand mandala
Visiting Tibetan monks created a sand mandala in a five-day exhibit at the Burroughs & Chapin Art Museum in Myrtle Beach. When the mandala was completed, it was destroyed and poured into the ocean in a ceremony signifying the transient nature of material things.
