Wild Water & Wheels is an amusement park for visitors who want to make the most of their time without having to travel to multiple locations. As its name suggests, this Surfside Beach attraction offers not only water slides and go-karts, but also 18 holes of miniature golf and a food court with a variety of options, all on one 16-acre facility.
The water park is comprised of 24 slides, including the Dark Hole which was described by Southern Living Magazine as the “best scary ride” in Myrtle Beach, and the Free Fall Cliff Dive where sliders can reach speeds of up to 45 miles per hour. But it’s not just thrill rides and slides – visitors can relax on the 950-foot lazy river, splash around in eight unique types of waves in the wave pool, unwind in the adult lounge pool, or get a little bouncy on the bumper boats.
Meanwhile, the Race Zone offers five different types of go-kart experience, from the specially-designed junior racers track for ages six to nine, to the speed racers course for ages twelve and up. In addition to age requirements, height restrictions also apply, so make sure you measure up beforehand!
Admission prices vary depending on how much of the park each visitor wants to enjoy, and whether you are over or under 48 inches tall. Senior rates are offered to those over 55 years of age, and special rates are available for groups of 15 or more, though they must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. And for parties of six or less in need of a little seclusion, private cabana rentals are available near the wave pool.
