The weather is still beautiful, the ocean water feels wonderful, and all of your favorite attractions are still open! Find an awesome hotel deal at your favorite property and book an unforgettable vacation in Myrtle Beach this August.

Coming to Myrtle Beach this August? Here are some things to do while you’re in town:

Spend Time at the Beach

Of course, one of the top things to do while you’re in Myrtle beach is to, well, visit the beach! The gorgeous sandy Atlantic coast offers many relaxing days filled with sand, sun, and ocean. Set up your beach blanket, umbrella, and picnic basket and plan to spend the whole day (or your whole vacation) listening to the waves crash against the shore, and feeling no worries at all.

See a Solar Eclipse

Perhaps the biggest event this August will be a total solar eclipse that will take place on August 21. The fully eclipsed sun will be able to be seen along a 70-mile path that spans from South Carolina to Oregon.  Those who want to have the best view of the total eclipse should head down to Georgetown, as the path will fall between Georgetown and Charleston.
