Some of the best shells can be found during and immediately after a good rain. Be sure it’s safe to go outdoors and bring a basket or a bag to collect some goodies. Just be sure to leave your balcony door cracked so you can hear the rain against the waves. Some fans said they use these days to teach their kids new games or have fun movie marathons (Jaws, anyone?). Check with your hotel to see if they offer free DVD rentals or in-room movie selections.
