Here in Myrtle Beach, we love to celebrate the holidays with fun events and award-winning holiday shows. Of course, we suggest going to all of the holiday shows you possibly can while you’re in town, because they’re all spectacular in their own way. But, if you can only pick one or two to go to, sometimes it can be very hard to choose! That’s why we created this Holiday Show Guide to help you narrow down which show you’d like to see.
The Carolina Opry Christmas Special – The Christmas Show of the South
From November 1 – December 31, 2018, locals and vacationers to the Grand Strand can enjoy the 33rd season of The Christmas Show of the South: The Carolina Opry Christmas Special at the Carolina Opry Theater. Each year, the show features new changes that are sure to wow guests. As always, though, the spectacular holiday show will feature singing, dancing, special effects, and tons of family-friendly fun. Get into the Christmas spirit with holiday décor such as 35 Christmas trees, 25,000 lights, 75 wreaths, a horse-drawn sleigh, real snow, and much more!

The South’s Grandest Christmas Show
The Alabama Theatre at Barefoot Landing will be hosting their annual holiday show, The South’s Grandest Christmas Show starting November 1 and running until December 31, 2018. This holiday extravaganza will feature your favorite Christmas songs, dancing, festive costumes, Christmas decorations, and more, plus comedy by Ricky Mokel. This is a show that you and your family don’t want to miss!
Ticket prices range from $43.80 to $54.75 depending on the seating section.
Alabama Theatre
Join GTS Theatre for Christmas in Dixie! This family-friendly holiday show is unlike any other. Take a step into the lives of a country family as they reminisce about their favorite Christmas memories. The show features singing, dancing, magic, ventriloquism, and much more!
Tickets are $34.95 for VIP seating, $29.95 for Adults, $12.95 for students, and $8.95 for children ages 3-10.
Legends in Concert is hosting their holiday show from November 2 – December 31 in Myrtle Beach! See tribute artists to Elvis, the Blues Brothers, Frank Sinatra, Aretha Franklin, and Martina McBride perform holiday favorites to get you in the Christmas spirit.
Tickets range from $39.95 to $49.95 depending on seating.
Christmas at Pirates Voyage
Arrgh! Celebrate Christmas at Pirates Voyage with a special holiday show from November 9 – December 31, 2018. This family-friendly dinner show features the story of Captain Scrooge as he goes on a journey through time to search for the true meaning of Christmas. The show includes all kinds of fun singing, acrobatics, and more, plus a battle between the Crimson and Emerald pirates for treasure! Of course, the show is paired with dinner, which includes Voyager Creamy Vegetable Soup, Buccaneer Bread, Half O’ Roasted Cackler (Chicken), Captain’s BBA Pork, Cob O’ Buttery Corn, Pirate Herb-Basted Potato, Apple O’ Me Eye Pie and unlimited soda, tea or coffee.
