If you’re like the majority of people visiting the beach, there are still quite a few loved ones whose names aren’t checked off your holiday shopping list this season. 

Fear not, there are plenty of great Myrtle Beach shopping centers, specialty stores and gift shops where you can find the perfect presents. From beachy trinkets and discount gifts to high-end apparel and electronics, we’ve got a little bit of everything here.

Here’s a look at the 10 best places to buy gifts in Myrtle Beach, many of which have extended hours for the holiday season — so feel free to shop ’til you drop!

Holiday Hours (through Dec. 31): 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday- Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Open 1o a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 24 and closed Christmas Day. (Individual store, restaurant and attraction hours may vary.)

Broadway at the Beach boasts great stores for gifts like Paula Deen’s Family Kitchen store, which is home to cookware as well as tons of other kitchen goods and food products. Other popular places to buy gifts include brands like Build-A-Bear Workshop, Claire’s, Crocs, Harley-Davidson, Flip Flop Factory, Ron Jon’s Surf Shop, Sunglass Hut, Tervis and Victoria’s Secret and specialty stores including Tiki Jim’s, The Mole Hole, Pepper Palace, Stupid Factory, Retro Active 80s & 90s shop, The Man Cave Store, It’Sugar and more. Broadway at the Beach is also home to many great restaurants, so you can take a break and eat while you shop!

Barefoot Landing

Holiday Hours (through Dec. 30): 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Eve (closed Christmas Day); 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. New Year’s Eve.

Just a short drive away in North Myrtle Beach is Barefoot Landing. The expansive complex located on the Intracoastal Waterway has over 100 specialty and gift shops including The Christmas Mouse, White House Black Market, Mole Hole and dozens more. Barefoot Landing has welcomed several new merchants and experiences during the year, and the holiday season is a great time to check them out! New stores include Midwest Monograms, Savannah Bee Company, 3D Krystal Photos, and Toy Kingdom. Barefoot Landing is also home to many great restaurants and attractions, making it a great destination to spend a whole day!

The Market Common

Holiday Hours (Dec. 21-30): 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday-Saturday; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday; 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve (closed Christmas Day).

The Market Common is a shopping and dining destination in the heart of Myrtle Beach. It is home to many big brands that shoppers love, including Orvis, Pottery Barn, Southern Living, Bath & Body Works, ivy & leo, and many more. Shop all day and grab a bite to eat at one of the many great restaurants or catch a movie at Grand 14 Cinema. 

Tanger Outlets 

Holiday hours: 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sundays. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve (closed Christmas Day). 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. New Year’s Eve and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. New Year’s Day.

If you’re looking to get a great deal, the dual locations of Tanger Outlets are likely your best bet. Whether you choose the U.S. 17 location (off of Kings Road on the north side of Myrtle Beach) or the U.S. 501 location (west of town near Carolina Forest Blvd.), you’ll find a wide variety of shops offering everything from clothing and apparel to gadgets, books, toys and more. Take your pick from Gap, Black & Decker, Brooks Brothers, Ann Taylor and tons of other brand name outlet stores for the best savings.

Coastal Grand Mall 

Holiday Hours (Beginning Dec. 16) 9 a.m. to 10 pm. Monday through Friday; 9 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday; 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed Christmas Day

The Grand Strand’s largest indoor shopping center features roughly 1,000,000 sq. ft. of shopping space and is anchored by retailers including Belk, Dillard’s JC Penney, Sears, Bed Bath & Beyond and Dick’s Sporting Goods.  You’ll also find Santa’s Workshop in Center Court and can get pictures and visit with the big guy from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday.

Myrtle Beach Mall

Here you’ll find classic anchor stores such as Belk, JC Penney and Bass Pro Shops — where you can visit with Santa and get your photo taken — accompanied by a variety of well-known retailers including Books-A-Million, Foot Locker, Hallmark, Rack Room Shoes and Bath & Body Works.

Myrtle Beach Boardwalk District 

Holiday Hours: Varies by shop

The Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Downtown Myrtle Beach is known more for its restaurants and attractions than its shopping, but there’s still plenty of reason to visit this area during the holiday season. You’ll find great gifts and souvenirs at spots such as The Gay Dolphin, I Love Sugar and the many fun T-shirt shops and beachwear stores.

Hammock Shops Village, Pawleys Island

If you’re looking for a more laid-back, Lowcountry shopping experience, make your way south to the Hammock Shops Village in Pawleys Island.
