Cheesesteak Factory serves up some of the best Philly cheesesteaks in the area. Maybe it’s because they use only hand carved Certified Black Angus Beef, 100% white meat chicken breasts and Amoroso’s Rolls shipped direclty from Phillly. The long list of hoagies and sandwiches includes other selections like The Italian, The Club, Hot Pastrami and Buffalo Chicken.

Jersey Mike’s Subs started in 1956 in Point Pleasant, New Jersey has since grown to house more than 600 franchises all over the country. The sandwich shops’ menus include fresh cold subs, grilled hot subs, wraps and a sub in a tub where you can make any sub into a salad. They offer traditional choices like the Original Italian, turkey and cheese and Club Sub as well as specialties like a Chipotle Cheese Steak and a Baja Chicken wrap.

Sure you might know Mellow Mushroom as a funky pizza joint but they serve up some of the coolest sandwiches at the beach. We love the portobello and cheese hoagie stuffed with grilled portobellos, artichoke hearts, sun dried tomatoes, spinach and feta. Other tasty options include teriyaki-grilled tofu; Jerk Chicken, Italian, Spiked Sausage, Meatball and more. All hoagies are available in half or whole portions.

It’s all in the name at Best of Philly in Myrtle Beach. The tiny hut is located in the heart of Myrtle Beach along Kings Highway and serves up top quality meats on their 12″ and 8″ Philly steak or chicken subs. Looking for something a little simpler? Try a turkey, ham or combo footlong sub. All subs are served on an Amaroso hoagie. Best of Philly is open seven days a week.

Start off with a breakfast sandwich on a hard roll at Little River Deli in Longs. Then make your way back for lunch to try one of their signature wraps, paninis or deli sandwiches. A popular choice is the turkey with melted cheddar served with tomato, bacon and mayo on a ciabatta roll. The deli is also said to have the Best Italian Sub and the Best Reuben south of Manhattan!

Founded by actual firemen, Firehouse Subs now has over 600 restaurants in over half of the United States. Firehouse carefully steams the meats and cheeses for each sub and then stuff them on a toasted sub roll. Perhaps the most famous sub is the Hook & Ladder which is stacked high with smoked turkey breast, Virginia honey ham and Monteray Jack cheese served fully loaded.” Other famous subs are the Engineer, Firehouse Hero and the New York Steamer.

McAlister’s Deli is the master of creating quick and unique deli assortments and each menu item is fresh and made to order. Their famous sweet tea-sold by the glass or gallon- is worth a visit in itself! The menu includes salads, soups, sandwiches, spuds stuffed with anything you can imagine and a variety of comforting side dishes. The McAlister’s Triple Decker Club is stacked high with ham, turkey, bacon, two cheeses and their delicious honey mustard. The Savannah Chopped Salad is another delicious option.
