Description
About Sole Italian Restaurant

Family owned and operated, Sole Italian Restaurant in Myrtle Beach delivers the experience of having dinner at a close friend’s house with outstanding food and atmosphere.

Located along Kings Highway, Sole has a convienient location for visitors and locals alike.

Owners Chef Carlos and Patricia Ribera run a tight ship of family members who go the extra mile to make guests feel at home.

Sole Italian Food

Open for lunch and dinner, Italian classics highlight Sole’s diverse menu from start to finish. Hot, fresh bread dipped in pesto greets every table, but try not to fill up on the free stuff and save room for some good stuff. The salads are fresh and appetizers, like the fried calamari and bruschetta, are great ways to start your meal.

Entrees include all the Italian favorites, such as lasagna, linguini and clam sauce, manicotti and veal parm, are popular items. House specials include the Sinatra chicken and the clams in wine and garlic sauce.

There is a limited amount of seafood on the menu, but the shrimp scampi and salmon are outstanding. The mouth watering linguini malafemina is one of Sole’s most popular dishes. This delicious dish is served with shrimp, scallops, clams, muscles and fish, with a white wine and garlic sauce or a red spicy fried Diablo.

All the sauces and pastas are made on site, and so is the cheesecake … if you can still find room for dessert.

Sole Italian Atmosphere

The restaurant isn’t filled with fancy or over the top decor, but then again, some of the best Italian food can be found in less-than-fancy confines.

The quaint dining area and friendly service make guests feel comfortable and welcome. The interior is classic family Italian restaurant where the emphasis is on the food, not the mood.

  • Simply outstanding

This is our favorite restaurant in Myrtle Beach. The food is authentic Italian and simply delicious. I like the crab stuffed flounder in lobster creme sauce but everything is outstanding. And the service second to none! You will not be disappointed!

  • Best Anywhere!!!

My family has vacationed in Virginia Beach twice, in 2014 and in 2019. The second time we went was because we had to eat in Sole again! We are from New York and Boston, and this is literally one of the top Italian restaurants we have had the pleasure to dine in. Not only is the food superb, but the staff are a pleasure to be around. From the appetizers through the deserts, all the dishes were excellent, with at least one of the dishes so good, that they produced an out-of-body experience! Go to Virginia Beach and go to Sole. Your taste buds will thank you.

  • Excellent food, excellent service!

My wife and I had the opportunity to go to Sole on Saturday Night with James Stephens III and his wife Marnelle, who own the new Asher Theater in Myrtle Beach. We had just finished performing and James made reservations for us. This is his favorite restaurant. The food was outstanding and the service was great. I can't wait to go back. I had the roasted leg of lamb and it was the best I ever had.
