About Soho Myrtle Beach

This popular Myrtle Beach eatery with two area locations offers a full menu of eclectic cuisine from Asia and beyond. Open from lunch until after midnight, some people go for the daily specials, while others head out for late night sushi and Soho’s cosmopolitan bar scene.

Soho Food

It’d be hard not to find something that appeals to you on the Appetizer menu, which offers everything from Spring Rolls and Gyoza to Calamari and Hummus. Other standouts include Tuna Tataki, Japanese Style Stone Grill Filet Mignon (which lets you cook your own tender beef), and New Zealand Mussels served in a spicy mayo with scallions.

For Soups, Soho serves Miso and French Onion, and Salad options range from Italian, Greek, and Mediterranean to their Cold Pasta Salad (penne, tomato, feta, peppers, scallions, garlic, sun-dried tomatoes, basil, black olives, and olive oil).

The Entrée selection is vast and divided into several sections – Hibachi, Tempura, Steaks & Ribs, Chicken, Soho Skewers, and Seafood & Shellfish.

Highlights from the Steak & Ribs menu include the 10oz. Filet Mignon served with soup or salad, vegetables, and choice of potato, and the Baby Back Ribs, available in one or two racks.

Chicken options include Marsala, Piccata, Parmigiana, and specialties like Vienna Schnitzel, Pollo Scaparelli (garlic, white wine, over pasta), and Spezzantino di Pollo Alba (garlic, white wine, mushroom, bell peppers, tomato, zucchini, pasta).

Tempura and Hibachi options are pretty straight-forward – choose your favorite protein (chicken, filet, shrimp, scallop, etc.) and decided whether you’re in the mood for battered or grilled food.

The Seafood & Shellfish choices include Shrimp, Scallops, Grouper, Tuna, Salmon, Flounder, Crab Legs, Red Snapper, Chinese Whole Fish, and Mussels, all served with vegetables and your choice of house potatoes, rice, or fries. If you can’t decide on one, check out the Seafood Platter (shrimp, scallops, flounder, and soft shell crab), served fried or broiled.

The Sushi menu is as vast as the entrée list, offering sashimi, nigiri, 5-piece rolls, Vegetarian 6-piece rolls, 6-piece (fish) rolls, and 8-piece Specialty Rolls, as well as plentiful Sushi Platters. Most people are probably familiar with the sashimi, nigiri, and 5-piece and 6-piece roll options (California, Philadelphia, Spicy Tuna), but Soho has plenty of other interesting and unique combos in their Specialty Roll section. Consider the Volcano Roll on Fire (California, topped with shrimp, salmon, white fish, crab, spicy mayo, and finished off with a blow torch), or the Edo Roll (avocado, spicy tuna, kani, and tempura flakes on the inside, with eel, avocado, tuna, salmon, tempura flakes, and Buddha Sauce on the outside. Of the forty-six specialty rolls, you’re almost guaranteed to see something you like.

Soho Locations

The décor, lighting, music, and vibe are what really set the Soho locations apart from other Myrtle Beach restaurants. Upon entering in the evening, guests will find lowered lights, mellow dance floor beats, traditional sushi bar decorations, and servers scurrying around in sleek black outfits. It’s almost like you’ve stepped away from the Grand Strand and into a cozy but lively lounge in a much bigger city.

Soho North – 9715 North Kings Highway – The Soho North location is on the Intracoastal Waterway with outdoor dining overlooking the water.

Soho South – 407 21st Avenue North – Soho South is located in the heart of Myrtle Beach. The rooftop bar is a nightlife hotspot with DJs spinning music late into the night.
