About Rockefeller’s Raw Bar

Rockefellers Raw Bar is a bit of an institution in North Myrtle Beach, serving as a locals

favorite and late-night hangout as well as an outstanding restaurant. Featuring fresh local
seafood and a wide range of affordable, draft beers, Rockefellers is a natural draw for a fun
crowd. From a casual lunch to a nice dinner, Rockefellers truly is a place for everyone.

Rockefellers’ Food

Seafood is the star at Rockefellers, especially the steamed Appalachacola Bay oysters that
headline the raw bar. The famous crab dip is another great way to start your meal, but the
“infamous” (their words, not mine) steam kettles are what bring most folks through the
door. Featuring fresh shrimp, scallops, clams, mussels and crawfish steamed in kettles filled
with a variety of seasonings (Old Bay & Beer, Wine and Garlic herb butter, Fra Diablo and
“Priddy” (the house sauce named after the inventing cook), guests can pay $2 extra to have
the bounty poured over fettuccini. The menu also features many seafood and a limited
number of “land-food” options, but most prefer the kettles over the dishes.

Rockefellers Raw Bar’s Atmosphere

Rockefellers is unique in that it is part raw bar and part restaurant. The raw bar side offers a
cool lounge decorated with surfboard tables and often inhabited by locals. The mood is laidback and fun as strangers quickly become friends after sitting elbow to elbow at the bar. The
restaurant section is slightly more formal and ideal for a nice meal. Get the best of both
worlds at Rockefellers.
