This locally owned establishment combines the best of both worlds – seafood from the nearby Atlantic Ocean and country cooking straight from the Palmetto State. If you like seafood or Southern comfort food, Preston’s is the place.

The Food

Even in an area lined with seafood buffets, nobody puts out a spread quiet like Preston’s. The seafood buffet table is 15 feet long and loaded with fresh shrimp, oysters, scallops, mussels and crab legs. Crabs are a staple on the buffet, featuring crab cakes, deviled crab and crab imperial. At the risk of sounding like Bubba from “Forrest Gump,” the same is true of shrimp – shrimp creole, fried shrimp, shrimp and grits. While many seafood buffets offer a similar lineup, Preston’s prepares a solid home-style selection to keep the “landfood-lovers” happy, or to turn your meal into a surf-and-turf combo. The ribs, steaks and pulled-pork barbecue are as good as you will get at other country buffets, and the side items and dessert bar are both diverse and plentiful. Children can feast on a kids buffet just for them.

The Atmosphere

Preston’s puts the emphasis on being a family-style restaurant with a décor that’s both nautical and country. The food takes center stage here so the environment is about what one expects from a buffet although a bit more relaxed than most. The service is all about Southern hospitality and making sure no one leaves unhappy or hungry.

The best!!

We enjoyed Preston’s. The food, atmosphere, and service was great!! Crab legs were awesome. Our three girls loved it too. We will definitely be back each time we come to Myrtle Beach!!!

Preston’s Seafood and country buffet

Preston's Crab Leg's are the best at North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach and always served hot at the diners request. What makes it even more pleasurable is long time waitress Shari who provides excellent service and always has her beautiful smile and pleasant personality. Shari is one of the best waitresses we have experienced in all our travels.
