The Restaurant

This beach bar and grill has the location, location, location, but also the food, fun and atmosphere to go with it. Tucked away on the second floor of the luxurious Long Bay Resort, the Ocean View Café lives up to its name by offering a spectacular view of the Atlantic Ocean and the outdoor pool deck below. Indoor and outdoor seating are available.

The Food

Ocean View Café serves a long lunch that is perfect for busy hotel guests who need a place to eat in the middle of the day without packing up and leaving the beach or pool. The menu is limited to burgers, sandwiches, salads and starters, although daily specials give visitors a little more variety. The Philly Cheesesteak is a favorite, featuring sliced strip steak piled high on a hoagie roll with Provolone, grilled onions and peppers. The Chicken Salad is another classic; guests can get it on a sandwich, on a salad or as is with crackers. Of course, the traditional burger and fries go down easy on a break from the beach and the heat. That’s why the bar is the busiest place in the restaurant. Guests belly-up to the counter and sip on cold beer, cocktails and frozen drinks before heading back to the sun and surf.

The Atmosphere

Ocean View provides relief from the heat and a small number of tables to chill out and eat. The dress code is very casual as sunbathers and swimmers come as they are. The outdoor patio deck provides the best seats and views in the house.
