Description
About Mrs. Fish

No relation to the better-known Mr. Fish since the amicable divorce, Mrs. Fish took over Mr. Fish’s original home and simply added an “S” to the sign. But the two seafood hot spots are quite similar since Mrs. Fish owner Andrew Chu used to work for Mr. Fish before taking over the old site. Like the predecessor, Mrs. Fish still offers great seafood dishes at a nice price.

Mrs. Fish’s Food

Fresh seafood is still the cornerstone of this establishment, and daily fresh-catch specials are available for lunch and dinner. Standards include teriyaki-seared tuna, Cajun grouper and hot curry shrimp, but Andrew will make any type of fish in any of his special sauces upon request. He also offers sushi on certain nights and regulars swear its the best in town. Main dishes come with your choice of gumbo, green beans, rice, fries, slaw and more. The seafood platters come complete with fish, shrimp, scallops, oysters and clams fried to perfection. Crab legs, mussels and little neck clams are also available, along with a wide selection of beer and wine.

Mrs. Fish Atmosphere

Despite the small strip-mall space in the old section of downtown, Mrs. Fish has real character. Barstools and small tables make up the tight space, but customers use the close quarters to talk to one another as if it was one large party of 30. Andrew is a jokester and keeps the mood light and friendly. The kitchen is part of the dining room and fans love watching Andrew do his thing.

  • Deliciousness!

I had the grouper which was so amazing my husband kept stealing bites, but his fish and chips was also wonderful! We had a side of fried oysters too. I doubt if you can go wrong, anything you choose will probably be just as yummy!
