There are many ways to enjoy a Japanese hibachi meal in Myrtle Beach, from sit-down cook-in-front-of-you eateries to more casual restaurants where the preparation is done elsewhere and then brought to the table. There’s also a faster way, commonly known as a drive-thru, and this is where Ichiro’s comes in.
Ichiro’s was founded on three principles – to produce a quick and healthy Japanese meal, to use only the freshest ingredients, and to provide a perfect alternative to the everyday drive-thru.
Ichiro’s Express Food
This quick-stop restaurant offers a full menu of fast Japanese food day. Appetizers like Gyoza, Egg Rolls, and Spring Rolls are available in addition to Chicken Wings, which can be done teriyaki or hot. A handful of salads are also an option, and guests can choose from a Side Salad or House Salad (starters) or a Chicken, Steak, or Shrimp hibachi-style salad. Ichiro’s also offers wraps with a choice of the main three meats.
The Entrees are the main draw at any hibachi restaurant, and the options here are Veggie, Teriyaki Chicken, Steak, Shrimp, Scallop, or any combination of the meats, served alongside the standard side of onions, zucchini, mushrooms, and carrots.
From 10 a.m. – 4 p.m., Mini Bowls (Rice and choice of chicken, steak, or shrimp) are available, and Regular Bowls (same options as mini bowls, plus scallops) are on offer all day. There are also Kids Meals and a short list of Desserts including Brownie Bites, Banana Foster Bites, and Sherbet.
Ichiro’s Express Atmosphere
The interior here is a non-issue if you decide to drive-thru or get delivery. But for all others, the interior is spare, clean, and economical with a few rectangular tables and standard chairs. Food is ordered at the counter and available very soon afterwards.
