About Greg’s Cabana Bar & Grill

Greg’s Cabana Bar isn’t on the beach but it certainly looks and cooks the part. Featuring a wood-panel exterior and patio tables under umbrellas on the front porch, first-time visitors may feel like they’ve arrived at an inland beach bar. The owner and namesake have built a strong local following and the bar/grill has earned a reputation for excellent “bar food,” just like you might find on the beach.

Greg’s Cabana Bar Food

The menu at Greg’s is proof that simple can be tasty, especially when you add fresh seafood to the mix. Starters include the Inlet Crab Dip served with freshly fried nachos and the basic Peel & Eat Shrimp steamed in Old Bay and Beer. The chicken wings and fried pickle spears are also house favorites. Greg’s also offers soups and salads, but they specialize in pub grub. Among the many burger options are the Bayou Burger with pepper jack cheese and a medley of onions and peppers, and the Hillbilly Burger topped with cheddar cheese, pulled pork and BBQ sauce, a perfect marriage of cow and pig on a Kaiser roll. Sandwiches include the Cabana Club, the Boca Reuben and the house special Chicken By Greg featuring a marinated chicken breast smothered with Swiss, bacon, mushrooms and grilled onions. Wash it all down with a full bar and a wide selection of frozen drinks.

Greg’s Atmosphere

Greg’s Cabana Bar has the expected tropical theme but also has the feel of a local’s bar that just happens to be near the beach. Out-of-towners will feel comfortable bellying up to the bar with some of the regulars. The outdoor patio provides a nice seating area and a laid-back atmosphere, especially during happy hour.

Don't expect a fancy place. This is more of a local bar but what they lack in style they make up for with quality food at reasonable prices. The daily specials are excellent and of course the burgers are mentioned by many visitors as the "Best on the Beach"!! Good service with friendly wait staff.
