This North Myrtle Beach mainstay is a great place to fill up the whole family, whether you and your people are in the mood for a hearty breakfast or a tall stack of pancakes, or both. They also serve a lunch menu of sandwiches, salads, and burgers until 2 p.m.

The kitchen here uses buttermilk to make their old-fashioned pancakes, and the malted Belgian waffles are served with whipped creamery butter. That said, the selection of pancakes includes all manner of styles from classic to flapjacks filled with fruits like cherry, blueberry, strawberry, apple, and more. Waffles are available with similar fillings, and Dino’s Golf Platter includes two golden waffles with two eggs and your choice of bacon, ham, or sausage. Other specials include Ribeye and Eggs, Country Fried Steak, Eggs Benedict, and Country Sausage Gravy over Buttermilk Biscuits, and each are served with two eggs, hash browns or grits, and toast with fruit preserves. Egg Baskets are available with bacon, sausage, corned beef hash, Virginia Ham, North Carolina Country Ham, or Canadian Bacon, all served with one or two eggs, grits, and toast. The Omelet Shop menu includes several meat and cheese combos, but also a Greek, Spanish, Vegetarian, and Western.

Dino’s starts serving lunch at 11 a.m., and specializes in things between two pieces of bread, and lettuce-based dishes. The sandwich selection includes everything from a Monte Cristos and Reubens to Chicken or Tuna Salad, Steak Sandwiches, or a classic B.L.T. Highlights from the Burger menu include Tommy’s Favorite, two all-beef patties with lettuce and Thousand Island dressing; a Mushroom Burger; and a good old Cheeseburger Deluxe. For Salads, choose from Greek, Grilled Chicken, Crab Meat, or Julienne (ham, turkey, onion, tomato, green pepper, onion, boiled egg, Greek dressing).

This is a good old-fashioned, no-frills environment where you can focus directly on how much you’re enjoying your meal. At Dino’s, the service is quick, the coffee is hot, and the cooks keep pushing out orders as fast and as good as they can, which is better than most of the other pancake houses in town.
