Benny Rappa’s Trattoria Food

Open for lunch and dinner, Benny Rappa’s offers a wide range of soups, salads and sandwiches by day and a long list of Italian favorites for dinner. The popular “Lunch on Time” lineup includes the house special Italian Wedding, Caesar Salad, the Italian Sausage Sandwich or the Lobster Ravioli Ala Vodka – all for around $10. The dinner menu is written nightly on a large chalkboard and basically allows diners to create their own dishes. Order chicken, veal, beef or seafood prepared Sicilian style, Milanese, Florentine, Picatta or any of a dozen different ways with tasty, house-made sauces. Try the Lasagna, Rigatoni, Manicotti or any of a variety of pasta dishes, and the clams and mussels in red or white sauce are popular choices. Rappa’s also has a long kids’ menu, dessert cart and wine list.

Featuring white-linen table clothes and candle-lit tables, Benny Rappa’s certainly qualifies as upscale for its elegant setting. But the Trattoria portion of the title serves as a fun and relaxed environment over traditional fine-dining establishments.
