Restaurant Week South Carolina is a celebration of the culinary treats of the state. Local restaurants participate in Myrtle Beach Restaurant Week with special menus and discounts, giving food lovers the change to try out the best dining spots at the beach at a great price. This year's event is set for January 7-17, 2016.

Some of the biggest names in dining feature special three- and four-course menus sure to delight your taste buds. Check out these great restaurants participating in Myrtle Beach Restaurant Week: 

The Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro

Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro 4269 Luck Avenue, Little River, SC 29566

The Brentwood Restaurant & Wine Bistro, known for fine French cuisine in Little River, is serving a three-course Prix Fixe menu for $28/person. Two glasses of wine can be added to the meal for $10. The first course is a choice of Pear & Blue Cheese Salad, Goat Cheese Salad, She Crab Soup or French Onion Soup. Second course is a choice between Chicken Brentwood served with sauteed mushrooms, baby spinach, mornay sauce and chef's potato; Flounder Almondine served with rice pilaf, toasted almonds, sauteed vegetables and lemon butter sauce; Pork Filet Calvados served with caramelized apples, chef's potato and apple-brandy demi; Salmon au Tarragon with rice pilaf, sauteed vegetables, lime and tarragon sauce; and Butternut Squash Ravioli with a roasted chestnut and Parmesan Cream Sauce. The third course is a French Apple Tart a la Mode, Blueberry Bread Pudding, Fondant au Chocolat, or Raspberry Sorbet.

 
Cafe Amalfi

The oceanfront Cafe Amalfi, located in the Myrtle Beach Hilton, is serving a special three-course menu for $30/person. The first course includes your choice of House Salad or 50/50 Caesar Salad with baby kale, romaine hearts, torn croutons and parmesan cheese. Second course is a choice of Grilled Bistro Steak with potato croquettes, asparagus, Cipollini onions and Romesco sauce; Jolt Head Porgy with Chipotle roasted baby carrots, curried yogurt, purple potatoe puree and watercress; or Roasted Roma Tomato Risotto with grilled chicken, asparagus, eggplant and Parmesan cheese. The third course is a Strawberry Shortcake or Seven Layer Chocolate Cake.

 
Castano’s Italian Steakhouse

Castano's Italian Steak House 4926 Hwy 17 S, North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582

Castano's Restaurant Week menu ($30/person) starts with your choice of She Crab Soup or Mixed Baby Green Salad with candied almosnd, fire-roasted tomatoes, herbed goat cheese, crispy shoestring onions and mandarin oranges. The second course includes your choice of Petite Center Barrel Cut of Prime Filet Mignon, Rosemary Encrusted Lamb Loin, which is served with a pistachio and mint risotto and rosemary red wine demi glaze; Potato Horseradish Encrusted Salmon served with fresh herb and Asiago risotto cake; or Chicken Marsala over fettuccini. The third course is a choice of Grand Marnier, sundried cranberries and white chocolate bread pudding or Lemoncello Ricotta Cheesecake.

 
Croissant’s Bistro & Bakery

Croissants Bistro & Bakery is offering a three-course prix fixe menu for $30 per person. The first course is a choice of Signature Soup (French Onion, Roasted Parsnip or Chorizo Sausage and Lentil) or Salad (Caesar, Wedge or Warm Shaved Brussels). The second course includes one of the following: Apricot Glazed Crispy Flounder served with creamy grits, sauteed spinach and an apricot glaze; Grilled Pork Tenderloin marinated in apple-ginger served with roasted sweet potatoes, lentils, tomatoes and collards; Roasted Root Vegetables with tomato, grits and a smoked tomato vinaigrette; or Bistro Chicken stuffed with prosciutto, sun-dried tomatoes, basil and boursin cheese served over artisanal pasta with mushrooms, spinach and classico sauce. The final course is a dessert of your choice from more than 30 options.

Enjoy three courses for $35 at 21 Main at North Beach. The first course is your choice of Collard Green Wontons, paired with Boursin cheese and finished with a Thai chili sauce; Fried Green Tomato Caprese, with imported Buffalo Mozzarella finished with a balsamic reduction and California olive oil; or Portobello Stuffed Mushrooms, with prosciutto and exotic mushrooms with a salad of arugula, lemon and a balsamic reduction. Entree selections include Ricotta Gnocchi and Seafood Etouffee with crawfish, shrimp and andouille sausage in a classic creole stew; Char Grilled Pork topped with portobello mushrooms and provolone served with Boursin whipped potatoes, roasted asparagus and a sage demi glaze; Pollo Scallopini with mixed artichoke hearts, capers and prosciutto over angel hair pasta with a lemon beurre blanc; 21 Main Delmonico with mushroom risotto; or Beef Short Rib with fingerling potatoes. The Parson’s Table

The Parson's Table in Little River is offering a three-course menu for $30/person. Starters include Fried Green Tomatoes with goat cheese and sweet red bell pepper coulis; Savory Wild Mushrooms sauteed with leeks, garlic and maitre d' butter; and Charleston She Crab Soup. Entrees are served with cheese spread, mixed greens with house viniagrette, cornbread, fresh veggies and choice of garlic and leek mashed Yukon gold potatoes, carrot and sweet potato puree, roasted rosemary fingerling potatoes or basmati rice. Entrees include: 8-oz Slow Roasted Rib of Beef served with au jus; New England Half Rack of Lamb with roast shallot medeira demi-glaze; Parmesan Encrusted Chicken with Shrimp sauteed with sun-dried tomatoes, capers and lemon butter; or Roasted North Atlantic Salmon fillet with asparagus, grape tomatoes, capers and lemon butter. Desserts are Mango Sorbet, Chocolate Mousse, and Keylime Pie.

Ruth's Chris Steak House, located on the Intracoastal Waterway, is serving a three-course menu for $40/person. Start off with your choice of Steak House Salad with a choice of dressing or Louisiana Seafood Gumbo, featuring a deep roux, onions, garlic, bell pepper, okra, shrimp, crabmeat and andouille sausage. The second course includes a choice of Petite Filet, Salmon Fillet served broiled or seasoned with cajun spices or Stuffed Chicken Breast stuffed with garlic-herb cheese and served with lemon butter. Dessert is a Mini Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce. Several Restaurant Week bonuses on additional sides and appetizers are also available.

Vintage Twelve, located at Kingston Plantation, is serving a three-course menu for Restaurant Week for $30/person. The first course is a choice of Baked Georgia Onion Soup or Grilled Romaine with parmesan crisp, sour dough baguette and a garlic drizzle. The second course is the choice of Steak and Shrimp, grilled Ribeye and spicy Gulf Shrimp with candied sweet potato and creamed spinach; Short Rib with glazed bourbon BBQ servedwith cheddar chive grits with sweet and spicy collard greens; or Grilled Snapper with a lemon chardonnay cream over black pepper fettucini and smoked asparagus. The third course is Cherry Chocolate Cheese Cake or Vanilla Creme Brulee.

Located at the Marina Inn on the Intracoastal Waterway, Waterscapes Restaurant is serving a three course menu for $35/person. The first course is a choice of Truffle Cauliflower Bisque, served with mint oil or Waterscapes Caesar Salad with hearts of baby romaine, parmesan crust, brioche croutons and Sicilian dressing. The second course is a choice of Vegetable Ravioli filled with spinach and goat cheese and topped in a basil Parmesan sauce; Shrimp and Scallops with creme of leeks, grilled asparagus and herb capelini pasta; or Braised Rabbit with spicy tomato sauce over penne pasta. Dessert is a choice of Warm Apple Tart served with Tahitian vanilla ice cream or Banana Creme Brulee.

Aspen Grille is offering three courses for $30/person during Restaurant Week. Starters include fried green tomatoes with pecan smoked bacon, Parmesan cheese and Bearnaise or an Aspen Grille house salad with balsamic vinaigrette. Choose one of three entrees including Braised Creekstone Farms Beef Brisket served with mashed sweet potatoes and bacon braised collard greens; Local Shrimp and Cheddar Grits with Andouille sausage, tomatoes, red peppers and pan gravy; or Roasted Free Range Chicken on mashed Yukon Gold potatoes with asparagus and mushroom jus. Choose between Warm Apple Crumble with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream or Chocolate Fudge Brownie Sundae for dessert.
