Coast RTA Public Transit

Horry and Georgetown counties, which make up the vast majority of the Grand Strand, are serviced by Coast RTA for public transportation.

Featuring eight bus routes covering the most popularly traveled parts of the Strand, Coast RTA offers eight different routes throughout both counties, from rural connections to the cities to shuttles to some of the area's top attractions.

Popular routes include North and South Ocean Boulevard in Myrtle Beach, giving inland residents and visitors easy access to the ocean without the headache of parking.

The Conway-Myrtle Beach connector for Coastal Carolina University and Horry-Georgetown Technical College transports students who live near the coast.

The Myrtle Beach Airport connector for visitors who are flying or need a lift to the nearby Market Common shopping and dining district.

Bus stops are clearly marked by Coast RTA signs with route and time information.
