We took to our Facebook page to find out where people like to watch the big sports games in Myrtle Beach. Our fans listed more than 40 options so we narrowed it down to the sports bars with the most mentions. Other shout outs go to Back Deck Bar & Grill, Broadway's Louie's, Hooters, Rockefellers Raw Bar, LIberty Tap Room and Stadium Club. Now, onto the top five.
Dagwood's Deli
Both Dagwood’s Deli locations in Myrtle Beach are a sports fan’s dream come true. The Surfside Beach location is home to 59 flat screen TVs and both locations have a screen in every booth. The Dagwood’s Deli in Myrtle Beach is joined with Bumstead’s Pub which has that at home feel. The menu features a wide variety of finger foods, jumbo sandwiches, wings and more. The soft pretzels and Southwest chicken egg rolls are the perfect game day snacks.
Oscar's Food & Spirits
Oscar’s Food and Spirits is home for local die-hard Steelers fans. With over 90 tvs throughout the bar and restaurant they show all the sports games- all the time. The North Myrtle Beach sports bar serves specialty sandwiches that can be done “Pittsburgh-style” with fries, slaw and tomatoes right inside. They also serve deep fried pickles, green beans, mushrooms and broccoli along with nachos, cheese stix and monster burgers.
Overtime Sports Cafe
This giant sports bar has a 12-foot video wall, 150 tvs, three 60-inch screens and even its own game room! The 10 foot projection screens are the perfect way to experience game days. Their menu is just as big as the tvs and features eight different types of burgers, 14 different wing flavors and mouthwatering entrees. The Grilled Steak Salad is said to be a local favorite and is topped with hand-cut marinated steak grilled to order, bleu cheese crumbles and potato shavings.
Murphy's Law Sports & Raw Bar
Each Murphy’s Law location along the Grand Strand has its own ambiance but they all agree their teams- ANYTHING PITTSBURGH! Happy Hour specials include 40 cent wings and great prices on fresh oysters and shrimp. The Myrtle Beach location has specials for the big game like $6 domestic ptichers, $3 vodkas and 35 cent boneless wings. The menu has sandwiches, Pittsburgh-style salads, burgers and a whole lot more.
Remedies Bar & Grill
Remedies Bar and Grill is home to the seven day happy hour and 48 tvs that feature all of the games you could ever want to see. It’s also home to the $2.50 Jager Bomb! They offer nightly specials like $1 Margarita Mondays and 25 cent wings Wednesdays. They have bar food staples like burgers, chicken tenders, sandwiches and wraps plus specialty pizzas like the Philly Cheese Steak topped with alfredo sauce, steak, peppers, onions and mushrooms.
