Wonderful location right on the beach and boardwalk. Beside 2nd ave Pier for fishing, restaurant and bar. Within walking distance to Broadway at the Beach by beach or boardwalk. Takes you back to the 50's! Clean and comfortable. Stunning beach location with gorgeous sunrises. Nothing to block the view! Never think twice about where to stay in Myrtle!

Excellent: Sea front Location, Pool & Spa,Boardwalk entrance from Hotel, Fast elevator, Helping staff, Good management. Good/Average: Room cleanliness, Bath room. Bad: Parking, Parking, Parking.. Yes very inconvenient parking. They have limited slots for convenient parking in front of hotel. Rest of the parking is at a distance, which is inconvenient and unsafe. Every time you leave hotel, you are worried you will get parking again or not. And there is no public parking nearby for whole night.

We come to myrtle beach every year we been doing this for the last 7 or 8 years the first time we stayed at the compus cove it's nice but cost a lot money the next year we found the windsurfer and been here ever since the staff makes you fill at home the rooms are clean. (Windsurfer) a safe family get away.

Location at the windsurfer was excellent walking distance to the boardwalk and pier. Woke up in the middle of night to roaches running around in the bathroom and kitchen. The pools are small and cigarette butts all around the jacuzzi elevator took forever and broke the first day we checked in and had to carry our groceries up six flights of stairs. The toliet clogged about every time it was used. Definelty would not recommend staying here.

I will tell you why I gave each category five stars. Cleanliness- we have stayed here many many times and have never seen as much as a bug or opened our room to find dirt or soap scum in the bathroom. Location- located near the 2nd avenue pier is an added bonus. It is also located on the main strip and with walking distance to downtown shopping centers. Rooms- rooms have flat screen tv's and good soft beds with a nice oceanfront balcony. They come with a fridge microwave and stove. Service- we are always asking for extra towels to use at the pool and our never rejected. We come back to the hotel around 1:00-2:00 to find our rooms completely spotless. Value- what couldn't be an unreasonable price for such great ammenities. I love you windsurfer hotel there is not a better place for the price!
