We had an excellent time. Opened the door to our balcony and WOW the most beautiful views! The room was old but the price was right! Staff was Super nice. Everything we needed was walking distance. With the Ocean and a pool what more do you need. Kitchen was furnished, which for us was excellent.

The only 2 good things about this place is the view and the front desk staff! The maids, however, are quite rude and do not do their job properly. The last time I stayed here was about 7 years ago. It has went downhill fast. Everything is old and worn out. The beds are the worst. The bathroom sink smelled like mildew when you turned the water on. Needless to say,we will not be back.

We were here for our 25th Anniversary, after honeymooning in the old Poindexter Resort had to come back to MB 25 yrs later. Really enjoyed our stay at Bermuda Sands. We love the off season of no crowds, lower pricings. If you want a 5 start resort go stay down the road a bit at Carribbean, Breakers, etc. We always travel with pets & they are great here for just that. As I watch from balcony, always saw guests from here with doggie bags for clean up. Saw someone right outside our balcony that wasn't from the motel, let their lab do #2 & went on. It ticked me off so much, that I got a bag & went out cleaned it up myself. It only takes one bad apple people to spoil it for everyone else. Come on people get with it, don't be lazy! The only complaint was & it was kind of funny really, was our main door if wind was blowing down hallway just right, made a haunting howling sound during the night. Think is due to doors being little loose. But this only happened one night. One other thing we could never figure out the cleaning schedule really? if was around 9:30am one day, it was like noon or later next day. We went for stroll for couple hours one morning til like 10:30 or 11am, but never came, so we just put tag up on door then. no biggie really! & loved loved the 32" Thank you so much for a very very enjoyable 25th wedding anniversary!

The kids had asked if we could stop in Myrtle Beach on the way to take them home... we'd never had a problem getting a room in Myrtle Beach before, but got a huge surprise when we arrived to find out everything was sold out for the night we arrived. We found a hotel 30 miles away and returned the next morning. We had to find a pet-friendly hotel and Bermuda Sands was all we could find. Nancy, at the front desk, was incredibly warm and kind. She said she was only going to charge us a $5 pet fee for both of our dogs combined, but on my bill it says they charged $10... still not a bad deal for two dogs in a hotel. However, the rooms were old and desperately in need of renovation. The carpets were badly stained. The "heated" pool was extremely cloudy and the room it was in was cold and windy due to the flapping temporary walls that had come unsnapped... several fathers of swimming kids tried relentlessly to resnap them. We were unable to sleep as young people ran the halls slamming doors and yelling obscenities all night long. We mentioned this to Nancy when we checked out, but she just smiled and told us to have a nice day. We felt the hotel was incredibly overpriced considering what we got. They had an outdoor water feature area that looked fun, but was too cold to use. We had to park pretty far away as well... this is hard for me as I have back and knee problems and carrying everything we needed to the hotel and then up the stairs was exhausting. We definitely would not stay here again.
