The first variety show in Myrtle Beach—and still voted #1 every single year—the award-winning 37th season of The Carolina Opry show blends two hours of critically acclaimed music, comedy and dance with 35 of the nation’s top performers and was recently named by CNBC as the “Top Attraction in Myrtle Beach!”
The Carolina Opry Theater also brings you Time Warp, the best music of the 60s, 70s, and 80s, blended with rich multimedia screens, special effects, and elaborate costuming, all performed live by the award-winning cast of The Carolina Opry.
From November to early January the theater is transformed into a winter wonderland as Calvin Gilmore presents the South’s most eagerly awaited production, The Carolina Opry Christmas Special, often referred to as “The Christmas Show of the South!”
The theater also features The Myrtle Beach Performing Arts Series, known for bringing acts such as LeAnn Rimes, Gladys Knight, Travis Tritt, Art Garfunkel, Dwight Yoakam, Lyle Lovett, Kansas, America, Wynonna Judd, The Russian National Ballet and some of the most amazing tribute acts in the country!

Christmas Show Extravaganza
A definite FIVE star experience: strong vocals; impressive instrumentals; song selections; flawless synchronized dancing; well-rehearsed choreography; gorgeous wardrobe; fascinating stage design/mobility; state-of the-art light shows; hilarious comedy; fast paced program. Vocalist Moses Braxton must be the most well-dressed man from neck to toe in South Carolina! This show contains subtle homages to the Radio City Music Hall Rockettes, the large feather fans from the movie White Christmas, instrumentals like the Trans Siberian Orchestra, and comedy skits akin to Hee Haw. This was our first visit to the Carolina Opry, and we were quite impressed by this holiday entertainment with its superb local cast. - Laura & Mark VanValkenburg, The Bluffs on the Waterway.

well worth the visit
on a recent trip to Myrtle Beach, my wife happened upon information about The Carolina Opry Theater. We made our reservations online and walked right into the theater when it was time. What a first-class show. Great songs with excellent voices. We'd been on a cruise a few years back and the quality of this show was equal to what we heard on the ship. With comedy and some touching moments mixed in as well. We will plan to go again on our next trip.

Best Show at Myrtle Beach
I see show every year at least once, its wonderful.I look forward to all the same people in the show. I almost feel like I know them. So much talent it is amazing!I still get excited every time I go. the cloggers are one of my favorite parts. Before covid they would come out after the show and meet with you, get pictures with youth. All of them are great friendly people.I will never tire of this show. Everyone I bring to the beach I bring to this show. Never had a disappointed person, not one!
