About Caravelle
The Caravelle Resort on the north end of Myrtle Beach includes as many as nine different buildings on its multi-block property, ranging from the high-rise Caravelle to two and three bedroom condo complexes.
Size matters when it comes to selection, accommodations and amenities, and The Caravelle has it all in one of Myrtle Beach’s most exclusive oceanfront neighborhoods. Featuring Caravelle, St. Clements and Carolina Dunes on the oceanfront, and St. John’s Inn, Dry Dock, Sea Mark Tower and more just across Ocean Boulevard, The Caravelle offers a wide range of accommodations.
From standard room and one-, two- and-three bedroom suites with oceanfront balconies on the east side of Ocean Boulevard to fully furnished condo units large enough for the whole family on the west side, guests can pick and choose the floor plan and location that’s best for them. The Caravelle also has a long list of amenities spread throughout the property. The main building has a large outdoor pool, aquatic playground, lazy river and Jacuzzis, which are open to all staying at a Caravelle property.
The Carolina Dunes, St. Clement’s, St. John’s Inn, Sea Mark Towers, Caravelle Towers and the Arbors also have their own pools. Many units now come with free wireless Internet access and more. Condo units are fully furnished with all the creature comforts of home.
Guests can enjoy excellent food and drinks without leaving the property. Open daily, the Santa Maria Restaurant serves breakfast and seasonal dinners. The Marco Polo and St. Clement’s Beach Bars are open seasonally and have grills with great menu selections. Check out the gift shop within the main Caravelle building.
Around The Caravelle in Myrtle Beach
Located in the Dunes section of Myrtle Beach, the Caravelle is close to some of the Strand’s top attractions, dining and shopping. The legendary Dunes Golf & Beach Club, Cane Patch Par-3 golf course and driving range and Jungle Safari miniature golf course are close by, as are many restaurants and shops. Broadway at the Beach, the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Restaurant Row are only short drives away.

Loved this hotel
I stayed here on my first trip to Myrtle Beach. It was an amazing trip the Hotel was beautiful. And there was a little bar and grill on the beach that has great drinks. Right down the street there is a bar that has good food. I tried to book this Hotel the last time that I went there but Travelocity screwed that all up.

My Favorite
I have stayed several times at this resort. It is always early spring or late fall. We love that is is further up the beach but still close enough to all the places we want to go. The rooms are great for the money and always the Ocean Front Room is delightful. Just to open the sliding doors and listen to the surf is enjoyable. We usually spend a week each time we go and love to go to the many restaurants there. We are also close to side trips in the area. Always plenty to do whether lounging at the pool or beach or going to the Boardwalk. On several occasions my daughter and her husband and my sister-in-law and her husband from Connecticut /Rhode Island also joins.

Made the best of it
Our last trip to Myrtle Beach was during the jellyfish swarm at the beginning of August 2015. We couldn't get in the water for two days at all and then when we could get in the water the jellyfish were still stinging and washing up on the beach so you couldn't walk barefoot or let the waves hit your ankles. The wonderful people at caravelle provided mariachi bands fire dancers music free samples to the kids of shaved ice. We still had a really good time and were able to go to the boardwalk and enjoy time there. So very thankful there is plenty to do besides boogie board in the ocean or our vacation would have been completely ruined. Thank you Myrtle Beach and Caravelle resort.

We have stayed at the Caravelle Resort twice. This time we had an oceanfront unit. It was a wonderful stay the resort is clean and all staff are friendly an helpful. The resort is close to all the fun things to do in the area. No real need to take your car out, you can walk to many restaurants and other activities.. Myrtle Beach is my favorite place to be, so much so that I hope to be a part time resident very soon.

Family Getaway
We stayed at the Caravelle and really enjoyed the hot tub and swimming pool. We also saw Illusions of Magic as well as Pirates Voyage. The multiple locations for mini golf offered lots of fun for the family. The nightlife was spiced up by trips to Club Revolution and Club 2001.

Quiet Getaway
Jay at the service desk was very helpful and gave lots of suggestions to improve our stay. The room was clean and had a nice ocean view. The elevators were quick and the pools were nice, though the indoor pool was in need of cleaning on our visit. Really liked that the parking garage was under the hotel and we did not have to cross the street to go to our car. It was a short drive to Barefoot Landing and Broadway at the Beach which was nice.

My boyfriend and his daughters have stayed at MB many times, but it was a first for myself and my sons. It was also our first vacation as a "blended" family. Since I did not want to stay in a hotel familiar to them, as well as needing a place to accommodate 6 people, our choices were limited. But the Caravelle resort had 3bds and oceanview rooms. The kids loved the place! Near the beach and grand spacious living space. The rooms were very clean and daily maid service kept them that way. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool and grounds were clean and welcoming. We enjoyed every minute of our stayvand the kids are already planning for next year.

Great place for kids

Great place. Nice accommodations in our suite. Reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff. Good buffet breakfast included with our package. One complaint-fire alarm went off at about 3am, 5am, and 7am on the same day. We were not given an explanation as to why or even an apology for the inconvenience. This was upsetting to me and this is why I was not pleased with my stay 100%. Communicate better with those who stay at your resort.

FAVORITE MYRTLE BEACH HOTEL
We have stayed at many places at Myrtle Beach, but seemed to enjoy the Caravelle Resort the most. The breakfast is excellent and very delicious. We went during Thanksgiving weekend and it was 70 degrees and sunny. We were surprised at how many people, children included, were enjoying the outdoor heated swimming pools. It's on the beach and the oceanfront room has a perfect view.

Nice enough stay
We came without reservations. We would have hoped at the end of summer to have gotten a more reduced rate. We like to check rooms before paying because we have gotten some bad ones and could not get a refund in the past. The room was good enough. in the p[ast we have stayed at Springmaid but it is now Hilton and out of our price range.

Great week at the beach and all the attractions that Myrtle Beach has to offer
Property was under partial renovation so it was a little dirty. The staff was very friendly and helpful we are going to be there from April 17 to the 22.

I miss MB !
I've stayed at the Caravelle resort for decades. I went as a teenager with my parents, for my honeymoon and for a nostalgic return trip. I've NEVER been disappointed in any way. The rooms have always been nicely furnished and clean with beautifully kept landscaping on the property. I've always found staff to be friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. They even worked long distance with one of my friends to decorate our room for our honeymoon !

Excellent rooms and the discount card was great for other places (dining, jet boat, etc)
The staff is very helpful and outgoing at this hotel. The rooms are spotless and perfect. This hotel is in a perfect location and the other hotels in the group are close by. There are numerous activities each night and fun for the entire family. The discount card, on the back of the room card, came was great to have and saved us quite a bit of money on food and activities in the area. We will definitely stay at the Caravelle again.

Wonderful Honeymoon
We truly enjoyed our stay at the Caravelle. The front desk staff was more than accommodating and helped whenever we needed it. The amount of amenities were amazing and we loved having access to so many pools. Breakfast was delicious as well.

Can’t wait to return
Reservations were simple and easy to complete, staff was exceptional and courteous. Rooms were great, clean and we'll put together. Went with my family, and there was something great for all ages. Trip was definitely too short!

Trip with Grandkids

Love staying at The Caravelle
Always love staying at the Caravelle. They always make sure you get what you need and fix any problems ASAP. Love the sand and ocean too! Shopping is close and a lot of outlets is a big plus.

Wonderful family beach week!

Great hotel and nice staff!
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time! Our hotel was great. The staff was very nice and always took time to say hello! The weather was great other than the last day. We did a ton of shopping, and the restaurants were great. Broadway at the Beach and Barefoot Landing were great as always. We'll definitely be back!!

Would Stay There Again
for the past 3 new years we have stayed at caravelle. it is a nice place. they were doing work on it when we were there. some of the cabinets in the condo need some work in the kitchens. breakfast buffet very good. will stay there most likely again in the future.

Memorable
We are RVer's and have always had large RV's.We stayed at the Caravelle in 1996 following my husband's open heart surgery.it was near the hospital if needed.The condo type room with 3 bedrooms was very accomodating and the breakfast in their on site restaurant was an excellent buffet. Very nice staff. That was a while ago but obviously still memorable.

Great Rooms!
My inlaws got a great room at The Caravelle Resort in May. It was so nice to be able to park at the resort and walk to the beach and restaurants. The Tiki bar was a great addition and a fun break from the beach. The room was spacious and very clean with a cozy kitchen. Just the right size for the two of them! We especially loved the hot tub on the seventh floor! Very private and a nice treat. It was a great place for a weekend getaway and I'm excited to have our friends and family stay there when they come to town for our wedding.

10th Year Anniversary Trip
It was great! The only thing is we asked the hotel for a quieter room and they placed us right above the pool area where there was Karaoke 2 times in that week we stayed. We just jammed to the music instead of letting it spoil our trip!

Overall a good stay

Room was warm
A problem was that the air conditioner was a room AC, not central air, and it was mounted on the floor, so it never adequately cooled the room.

Had problem with my reservation
i made reservations for a oceanfront king suite but instead got a double only stayed 3 nights instead of the 7 i SHOWED THEM MY CONFORMATION AND STILL WOULD NOT GIVE ME A KING SUITE

The Caravelle was dirty. The service oh excuse me there wasn't any service and the parking garage is made for Smart Cars.
